Climber Nima Rinji Sherpa set a New record

 


Nepali climber Nima Rinji Sherpa has set a new world record on the world's second highest mountain Mount K2 (8611 meters). According to Seven Summit Treks Nima Rinji Sherpa set a new world record as the youngest climber at the age of 17 years and 99 days. He climbed Mt.K2 8611m this morning at 10:40 Pakistan time.

On a mission to climb all 14 peaks during his teenage years, completed his 8th 8000er by climbing K2 with Pasang Nurbu Sherpa.

Next expedition - Cho Oyu He will now go to climb Cho Oyu Mountain.
