Ratna Mandir's visitor base has grown.
One and a half lakh rupees were collected from Pokhara's Ratna Mandir, which was reopened to the general public and tourists after a decade and a half of closure.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the Ratna Mandir, which opened to the public on May 29th of last year, has experienced an increase in the number of domestic and foreign travelers. Ratna Mandir, named after the Nepal Trust, charges 100 rupees for domestic visitors and 1000 rupees for foreign visitors to enter.
More support for the promotion of history and tourism is envisaged with the opening of the Ratna Mandir. Members of the immediate royal family stayed at the Ratna Mandir, which King Mahendra erected in honor of his wife Ratnarajya Laxmi Devi Shah.
