Minister Kirati is concerned about promoting Nepali culture first.

Sudan Kirati, the minister of culture, tourism, and civil aviation, has emphasized the importance of strengthening the tourism sector with a particular focus on Nepali culture and arts, local goods, and indigenous food.

The Minister made this statement during a speech he gave at a ceremony held today in Khijidemba, Okhaldhunga, to unveil a new trekking route. The culture, tradition, and architecture of Nepal are subjects for study and a source of information, according to the minister of culture. He took the time to express his desire to 'leave a mark' on the growth of the nation's tourism industry.

Ramhari Khatiwada, a member of the House of Representatives (HoR), also spoke at the event and stated that all political parties needed to come to at least a minimal agreement on issues of concern and growth for the country.

Yagya Sunuwar, a (former) member of the Constituent Assembly, and the tourist entrepreneur Angchhiring Sherpa claimed that the Khijidemba region has promise for eco-tourism and sports tourism, including golf.

Gombu Sherpa, chair of the Khijidemba Rural Municipality, anticipated financial assistance from the federal and Koshi Province government to enhance the neighborhood Chandeshwori Airport and organize the recently discovered trekking trail.

Khijidemba, which is 60 kilometers west-northwest of the district headquarters of Okhaldhunga, remains home to Sunuar, Tamang, and Sherpa people and is one of the finest instances of how Hindus, Kirats, and Buddhists coexisted there. It is located at a height of roughly 3,350 meters above sea level. It is anticipated that the region named as one of the 100 new tourist attractions in the country will serve as a center for sports tourism, particularly golf.
